I wasn't waiting anything from this game before I played 1st beta last december, but since then I'm completely hooked. I'm checking every week for this DNF Duel steam page, I hope it won't get too long before it shows off.
Unfortunately PS4/PS5 are still pretty popular in Japan, more than PC, and japanese devs focus mostly thier development (and their betas) on this hardware. Devs have these numbers though so I can guess they won't drop from PC platform so easily. For other fighting games we can just suppose it is the same, but PSN charts are hard to get. I moved to PC about 5 years ago for fighting games, and the experience is really much better.Īs surprising as it is, it has already been proven by numbers that Tekken 7 and Guilty Gear Strive playerbase are much bigger on PC. I really don't want fighting game devs to leave PC out because of the low standards of its player base. I really wish FGC folks would just abandon the platform. I get worried for fighting games, because steam/pc is really where they shine, but it always seems like the Playstation becomes the default platform.
